Soccer - Junior High Girls

Team Philosophy
The focus will be on developing a love for the game and improving technical soccer skills in a fun environment. All members will get to play, but play time may not be equal. The team is open to 6th-8th grade girls.

Games
The season will run from early September through late October. Home games will be played at the Ottawa Hills High School stadium mostly on Sunday evenings either at 5:00pm or 7:00pm. Away games will be scheduled with other teams in the area but may involve some limited travel. The away schedule will vary based upon the opponent’s field availability. Game schedules will be distributed once available.

Practices
The team will have scheduled practices twice a week. Practice days will be announced closer to the start of the season, but will more than likely be held twice a week. Players must bring their own soccer ball, shin guards, soccer cleats, and water bottle to practices and games.

PLEASE NOTE: A final schedule will be distributed once all registrations are in and the game/practice schedules are finalized.

Uniform
Each player will be supplied with a jersey. Jerseys are to be well cared for and will be collected after the last scheduled game. Each player is responsible to supply their own black soccer shorts, shin guards, black socks, soccer cleats/shoes, and soccer ball. Mouth guard is recommended but optional.

Communication
Each player will get information at the beginning of the season with practice times, game schedule, and other necessary information. Communication on practice or game changes will be via email or text.

Fees
Registration fee will be applied to league registration, referee fees, coach fees and supplies, if applicable.
