Service Department

The Service Department is a small crew that makes a big impact in the Village. Led by Foreman Jason Pelland, our Service crew collects trash and recycling, picks up leaves, cleans up roads from snow and ice, maintains the green spaces, the street light system, roadways and even keeps the flowering baskets healthy. These services are paid for through the local income tax and property taxes.

We're here to provide services. Don't hesitate to fill out a service request or give us a call.

Some of our infrastructure, such as sanitary sewers and the water system are owned and maintained by other entities. We recommend that you call the Village if you have problems and we will refer you to the proper representative

Storm Water System

Storm sewers are the responsibility of the Village. Water that goes into the storm sewer system ultimately ends up in our waterways, particularly the Ottawa River. It is important for the health of our natural resources that no contaminants enter the system. Residents can help by not spreading yard waste, fertilizer and other materials onto pavement where it can be washed into the system. If you notice anyone dumping materials into the storm sewers, please let us know. The document below outlines the Storm Water Complaint procedure.
