Oh no! You are in quite a predicament. Imagine you are stranded on an uninhabited island and you need to catch a fish to survive. Next, imagine you are visiting the zoo when everything starts going wrong and the animals are on the loose. Then picture that you are lost in the desert. It’s one survival situation after another. Using LEGOs and other makerspace materials such as cardboard, tape, fabric, rocks, leaves, twigs, straws, string, zip ties, paper, egg cartons, and other objects, you will find yourself in a survival challenges to invent your way out of.
You will face challenges in each of these survival situations that you solve with LEGOs and other objects in the Makerspace. To survive the desert, you may need to construct something to protect yourself in a sandstorm or figure out a way to get water from a cactus. Now picture yourself lost at sea and you need to make something to get the attention of passing planes flying overhead to be rescued… Using your LEGOs and Makerspace objects, will you survive the challenges?
