Softball - 3rd & 4th Grade Girls Slow-Pitch League

This program has reached capacity.  If you would like your child's name to be placed on the waitlist, please enter the requested information HERE. You will be notified if a spot opens up. If there are enough additional interested players, we will look into forming a 2nd team .

3rd and 4th grade Girls Softball will once again be joining the Washington Township Girls Slow Pitch Softball League this year. Slow Pitch softball is open to any 3rd and 4th grade girls interested in playing softball.

Pre-season practices will begin on Monday, April 8 and will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from April 8-18.  Time TBD 

The season kicks off with a pre-season tournament held the week of April 22.

League play begins the week of May 6, with 3rd and 4th grade games being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15pm. Location of games TBD, but will be Toledo local.

Beginning the week of April 22, practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, time TBD.

League play will end on June 6.


The unifroms will be the same as last year.  Participants in need of a new jersey/hat/socks this year will have an additional charge at a later date. 

Players are responsible for having their own white softball pants, hunter green belt, softball mitt and helmet.

Registration deadline is Tuesday, February 19

Please note:  Minumum team size needed: 10 players. Maximum team size: 15 players.  If more than 15 register, we will start a waiting list and look into forming 2 teams.

Starting April 26, 2013, the Ohio Department of Health requires parents and athletes to receive concussion information annually for each sport.

In accordance with Lindsay’s Law, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and other stakeholders jointly developed guidelines and other relevant materials to inform and educate students and youth athletes participating in or desiring to participate in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest.
