Rec Basketball Grades 4-6
Sundays, Jan 27 - Mar 10 (Off Feb 17)
Rec League Basketball is open to boys and girls in grades 4-6 and is a great way to work on skills, drills and playing the game. Players will be divided in to teams and will play weekly games along with working on improving their skills.
Parent volunteers will be needed to help with coaching.
An evaluation will happen at the 1st session on January 27. Games/practices will begin on February 3. The league will end with a tournament for all teams, along with a skills competition on the last day, March 10.
All players are to wear a reversible green/white basketball jersey. You may wear one from a previous year or other team. If you need to order a jersey, you may do so HERE. Deadline to order jersey is January 17.

Starting April 26, 2013, the Ohio Department of Health requires parents and athletes to receive concussion information annually for each sport.
LINDSAY'S LAW (SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST)
In accordance with Lindsay’s Law, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and other stakeholders jointly developed guidelines and other relevant materials to inform and educate students and youth athletes participating in or desiring to participate in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest.
