Science Olympiad Camp (Rising 6th-8th Graders)

July 31-Aug 4

Science Olympiad Team Competition Camp is an amazing way to get students interested and excited about many areas of science and math in a fun, competitive and engaging way.  Students will be divided into teams where they work collaboratively on various events with other 6-8th graders.

Current high school members of the State Qualifying Science Olympiad Ottawa Hills Science Olympiad team will serve as coaches and mentors building great relationships and experiences for Ottawa Hills students in grades 6-12. Some of the exciting events include Robot Arm, Rocks and Minerals, Ecology, Disease Detectives, Helicopters, Forensics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Mouse Trap Vehicle, and Electrical Vehicle.

The week long camp will culminate in an all day competition where teams will compete for ultimate bragging rights as the Science Olympiad Team Camp Champion in each event.

All participants will receive an official Ottawa Hills Science Olympiad team shirt, daily snacks, and awards.  Please submit your t-shirt information HERE.

In addition, all students who register prior to June 1 will receive a Village Life Summer Camp T-shirt.  After June 1, shirts will be available while supplies last. Please submit your order HERE.

This camp is for students who will be entering 6-8 grade in the fall of 2017.  Space is limited.
