The Office of Village Life is located at the elementary school, next to the community room. Shelly Jamieson and Becky Hauck administer a variety of programs for youth and adults to enhance the quality of life for Village residents.
Classes and Recreational Activities
For fun and learning, the Office of Village Life offers a wide assortment of classes and recreational activities to meet residents’ interests. Taught by highly qualified instructors, adults and children can participate while staying close to home.
To Register for Classes
Click HERE or on Village Life at the top of the page to see classes that are currently available. To register for a class, sign in and click on the classes you want. All registrations are now done online and payments are made by credit card.
If you are new to the website, click on Register to set up your profile. You can add members of your family to your profile and register them for classes with a click of your mouse!
If you have problems accessing your account or have other questions, please refer to the Village Life FAQs listed at the left. You may also reach the Village Life office at 419.537.9852 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please contact the Office of Village Life to request a refund. There will be a $10 fee charged for any registration cancelled by participants less than a week prior to the class. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS will be made after the first class session. If the Office of Village Life cancels a class, due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified and all your fees refunded. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refunds to be processed.
New Resident Coffee events are coordinated by this office to welcome residents into the community. Call the office to let them know about new residents or to sign up for the next New Resident Coffee.
The Community Room at the elementary school is available for community use. To reserve the Community Room, complete the Facility Request Form (found under Forms on the left). The form may be emailed, mailed or dropped-off at the elementary school, 3602 Indian Road, Ottawa Hills, OH 43606. JOINT RECREATION BOARD

The Ottawa Hills Joint Recreation Board was created in March, 2009 by the Ottawa Hills Council and the Ottawa Hills Board of Education to develop policies and procedures to “maintain the highest quality recreational programs, activities and facilities” for all the residents of Ottawa Hills.
